Site News:

We’ve launched our new Indie Spotlight! We love indie games and want to support up-and-coming designers and publishers, so each month we’re going to feature a new indie game. For each of them we’ll post articles, reviews, and giveaways, so stay tuned. You can read the full post about it here.

Kickstarter Game of the Week:

If you haven’t seen it already, you should check out Compounded! It’s a game about chemistry (Woo! Science!) and it was recently funded on Kickstarter. There’s still time to donate though, to help with some fun stretch goals!

Expansions:

Call of the Wild, a new expansion for Fantasy Flight’s Mansions of Madness, takes you outside the (relative) safety of that old haunted, creepified house and drops you into the woods around Arkham.

As usual, Fantasy Flight is releasing several expansions for Netrunner, Descent, and Warhammer.

More Dice! New Quarriors expansion! It has a slew of new dice, and it’s due out in 2013.

Other News:

Fortress has exposed the hidden agenda of Infiltration. If you’ve been disappointed with, or even amused by, the game, check out their insightful review.

We all know that there are more LotR and Game of Thrones board games than is strictly necessary, but no one can deny that they’re profitable. Sparknotes decided to turn the books-into-games path on it head, though. Here are 5 strange board game adaptations.

It’s official: Monopoly has voted out the iron, and voted in the cat. That’s what happens when you let the internet decide things, people. Less laundry, more cats!
