We’ve unveiled our March Indie Spotlight game to be Zpocalypse! We’ll be posting some stuff regarding it over the course of the month to help showcase this great new zombie game.

 

Kickstarter Game of the Week:

Not actually a Kickstarter, but Black Oak Games is testing out a new prototype group game for Game Salute’s Princess Bride line called Battle of Wits. Do you have what it takes to outwit your opponents and not drink from the poison cup(s)? Let’s find out. You can get more information on the game here, as well as a print-and-play copy of it. Then feel free to let the creator know what you think!

 

New Games:

BoardGameGeek has a preview of the upcoming game based on The Little Prince.

Veritas, a euro-style game set in France during the Dark Age, is now in beta. You can download a print-n-play here. Thematically, it looks extremely interesting. Each player represents a truth, and in order to survive, they must be copied into books that are spread over the map.

Hot on the heels of last week’s Firefly board game announcement, it looks like there’s going to be a Firefly RPG, too!

 

Expansions:

There’s a new expansion for Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game, and it’s titled Dark City.

 

Other News:

Remember Hollywood Game Night? It’s that gaming show (which may or may not be based on TableTop) that we’re anxious for and about. We’re not sure how the final product will end up, or what kind of games will be played, but we now know that Jane Lynch will host. Major point in its favor.
