Running an empire takes a lot of work. It’s expensive, messy, often confrontational, and perhaps most strangely, everyone has different ideas on how it should be done. Plus it takes a lot of work.
So you know what? We’re done. We’re handing off the keys to the kingdom to a new set of rulers who can enjoy both the noble pursuit of bettering mankind, as well as all of the lavish opulence and social perks that come with the abuse of power.
It’s win-win really.
