The Five Questions

What was your gateway game?

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? – I had both the board game and video game iterations…all of them.

Problem? What problem? The only problem I see is that there is a scuff in my Carmen Sandiego cosplay boots…

What was the last game you really enjoyed playing?

This is tricky. I think I’d go with Rampage. It involves meeples and flicking things. It’s not the most intellectually challenging game, but it’s pretty fun and ridiculous.

How big is your game collection?

I married Joe. So…that.

What is your favorite type of game to play?

I like varying types of games. I like games on the sillier side and co-op games where we’re all in it together. Some of my favorites include things like Ascension, Rampage, Gloom, Elder Sign, etc.

How do you feel about Monopoly?

NOPE! A big pile of friendship ending nope. Don’t get me wrong: it had its place, and I know some people like it. The truth is, the game is not to blame for the people who play it. I’ll stick with Power Grid instead and be over here stacking my coal thank you.
