Welcome back to Vox Republica, the Cardboard Republic Podcast!

We’re back at posting new episodes every Thursday, and each episode will be about 20 – 30 minutes long.

We’re back from hiatus! Go us! Welcome to Season Two of Vox Republica.

Canon is defined as a body of rules or standards accepted across a field of study or art. There’s a literary canon (well, there are many) and film canon, but is there gaming canon? Ryan LaFlamme and Dave Gordon discuss just that in this week’s podcast. Who gets to decide what becomes canon, and how are those games selected? Do they have to be fun to play, or even good?

Check us out next week to hear their recommendations of canon games.

For the gaming news bulletin, check out our Weekly Roundup.

We’d love to hear from you! Please leave feedback in our forums, or via email at podcast@cardboardrepublic.com. You can also reach me on Twitter or BoardGameGeek.
