Site News:

Due to the recent events in Boston this week and those in our area affected by it, we have placed a link to the official donation organization, The One Fund, on our home page for the immediate future. We thought it was the least we could do.

New Games:

Gaia Online, for those of you who don’t know, is an browser-based MMORPG with a focus on social interaction rather than leveling up. Also, there seem to be a ton of furries and teenagers. Not really sure there, but Game Salute has picked up their new board game Frontier Skies.

Expansions:

Fantasy Flight has announced a new expansion for Battlestar Galactica. Daybreak should be out in Q3, which isn’t so far away at this point.

Other News:

It’s fairly quiet out in gamer land this week, probably in part due to the annual Gathering of Friends event hosted by Alan Moon.

Nevertheless – hey, look, one of the first uses of Google Glass was cheating at Scattergories. Good work, all around.

Also, for all you gamers who love your shinies, Hasbro has announced a deal with World Trade Jewelers to produce accessories based on some classic games. Should be out in October.
